Hi, I believe that, according to the bible, there are some events that have not happened yet.
One is the rapture of the church, in case you don't know, it is the second coming of Christ (the first coming was when Christ came into the world through the virgin birth), He will come in the clouds and every believer and children will be removed from the earth to meet the Lord in the air, also the dead in Christ will raise from the graves.
Second event,( according to the bible calender) is the 7 year rule or reign of the Anti Christ. God will allow Satan to deceive the world through lying signs and wonders at this time. Those who do not receive the mark of the beast will be tortured.
Third event is when Christ comes in the clouds on a white horse(and with him others in heaven by which he chooses to reign with him on the earth.) He will fight the Anti Christ and overcome him.
Christ Himself will be the ruler of the earth for One Thousand years! Imagine what that will be like.:)

First off, there are a lot of signs in the Bible about the end of the world (too many to list here). But I can tell you this...
The Bible tells us that only God himself knows when the end will come. Jesus said, even He didn't know. So we have no way of knowing if it'll be in 2012 or even 3012!
Secondly, no, I don't think we will end from global warming. That doesn't fit with what the Bible says. Actually, more evidence points to a meteor strike than global warming. But this (meteor) is merely a tool God will use to fulfill prophesy.

there isn't really a positive answer about the world coming to an end? all it says is that one day Jesus will come back to earth and take his sons and daughters with him. John 3:16 whom ever believes in him shall have eternal life. and i think that is a sign. a sign that says he will be the one and no one knows when it will be. no were in the Bible does it say that the earth will end in global warming, never does it say that the world will end in 2012, once again there isn't a natural disaster that will wipe out the world.

The Bible refers to the end in many places from the old testament to the new testament. The book that most think of and refer to is Revalations. Some say it is scary or hard to understand. But not really. You need the Holy Spirit within you to understand truly. So try saying a prayer and ask for guidance, understanding, and wisdom.
Many things have happened already (i.e. building a road between the two nations; natural disasters, all in the middle east, and the rejection of God in the US.
As far as when it will end, no one knows this date and time. In fact the Bible goes as far as saying that if someone tells you He is coming, or even "there He is", it is not Him.
Also do yourself a huge favor, erase all images that you see of Jesus, for He will look anything but as we perceive Him to look. This is why the Bible tells you to have no images of Him.
Remember, Satan is the King of deception!

I don't know exactly what the Bible says about the "End". But someday there will be an end to the world, especially if mankind does not respect the earth and its resources with better respect. There is only so much air to breathe and share, but a whole lot of "hot air" to go around!

Go get a bible and read the new testament. That's Matthew through Revelations. The important thing in my opinion is Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour. I do not think the world will end at any time that people predict it to end.

The End of the World is not near. (The end of US may be different, depending on how foolish we are.)
Here's when the world will end: In about 5 billion years, when the aging sun expands to engulf the Earth's orbit and disintegrates everything. So relax-- we have all the time in the world.

No one knows the day or the hour.
Matthew 24:5-8 gives us some important clues so we can discern the approach of the end times, “For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.” An increase in false messiahs, an increase in warfare, and increases in famines, plagues, and natural disasters – these items are “signs” of the end times. Even in this passage, though, we are given a warning. We are not to be deceived (Matthew 24:4), because these events are only the beginning of birth pains (Matthew 24:8), the end is still to come (Matthew 24:6).
Many interpreters point to every earthquake, every political upheaval, and every attack on Israel as a sure sign that the end times are rapidly approaching. While these events are signs that the end times are approaching, they are not necessarily indicators that the end times have arrived. The Apostle Paul warned that the last days would bring a marked increase in false teaching. “In the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils” (1 Timothy 4:1). The last days are described as “perilous times” because of the increasingly evil character of man and people who actively “resist the truth” (2 Timothy 3:1-9; see also 2 Thessalonians 2:3).
(This we see alot right here in the R&S category)
Other possible signs would include a rebuilding of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem, increased hostility towards Israel, and advances toward a one-world government. The most prominent sign of the end times, however, is the nation of Israel. In 1948, Israel was recognized as a sovereign state for the first time since 70 A.D. God promised Abraham that his posterity would have Canaan as “an everlasting possession” (Genesis 17:8), and Ezekiel prophesied a physical and spiritual resuscitation of Israel (Ezekiel 37). Having Israel as a nation in its own land is important in light of end-time prophecy, because of Israel’s prominence in eschatology (Daniel 10:14; 11:41; Revelation 11:8).
With these signs in mind, we can be wise and discerning in regards to the expectation of the end times. We should not, however, interpret any of these singular events as a clear indication of the soon arrival of the end times. God has given us enough information that we can be prepared, but not enough information that we can become arrogant.

The world will end when god wants it too. Nobody knows when it will happen. Scientist believe that the myan calendar fortells the upcoming future events. It predicted 9/11. But the calendar comes to an end in 2012. I don't think it means we will come to an end. But maybe something will happen. But god will come back when he feels like it. No one can predict the future.

no, we will not end from global warming. "The world will end when God is ready" my preacher always says. God said that nations will collide and fight and world wars will go on like crazy! I go to church every Sunday and Wednesday and Saturday and i am very religious. i think we will be lucky to go ono 2012. me and my Dad both think that the rapture will comeby 2009. I honestly hope that you are ready. For a better understanding of what the rapture ill be like, watch this video. This is how quick it is going to be. God said there will be a thunder and we will all be gone. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmLhyPjHVes
copy and paste that if you have to........ after the rapture happens, every non-believer will remain on earth for nine years. in that 9 years, they will have to repent to go to heaven. if not, they will go to hell and spend eternity will the devil; satan. Hope all of this information helped! email me if you have any questions about it. Thanx!!!!!
