The meanest dog is the one with the irresponsible owner.

And by the way....there is only one American Pit Bull Terrier.
None of the things you mentioned are seperate breeds. Red nose/blue are just colors, and do not affect personality.

I suggest you do some research on the American Pit Bull Terrier, so that you know what you are talking about.

Unfortunately a lot of press has made having a pitbull hard on the owners. You've only been there a few months, the dog has done nothing but bark when you're near it's yard.... if this was a cattle dog, a chi or even some fluffy little mix it would be barking just as hard, but you wouldn't be having the same reaction because it's not a Pit. I'm sorry but you have no right to move into a neighborhood and then tell your neighbor to get rid of their dog because you don't like it. If I moved in next to you and told you I was scared of your pom and it was mean and agressive because it was barking at me, you wouldn't be too happy, now would you? It's not really any different. Not all pits are bad, not all are good either. One of the others suggested asking to meet the dog. I agree. I'd explain to your neighbor that you are concerned, and a little frightened and would like to be properly introduced to the dog. If they refuse, it could be because of your previous reaction to the dog. Ask them to consider it, and try not to be so upset because a pit lives next door to you. I've been around several that sounded like they'd eat you alive if you came near their home without the owner being there, but once you get introduced they'd just lick you to death.

Pits are not even close to being the meanest dog ! Cane Corso's are the most aggressive and protective dogs today. As a groomer, dog sitter, and breeder I have had a lot of experience with many different breeds and I would have to say that the Cane Corso would have to top the list.

With that said there and nice and mean dogs in every breed. The owners help the dog to decide how he will turn out. With some dogs they are just more protective and one owner type dogs which leads people to consider them to be mean.

No Pit Bull. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's true. Any dog can be mean. Any dog can be nice. It's all to do with their owners, as many of the answers before me have said. And I'm pretty sure those are all the same breed, just variations in colour.

HOW RUDE!! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD DOG ONLY BAD OWNERS!!! Don't judged pit bulls. there are plenty of sweet and harmless pit bulls. the ones u say are mean act that way b/c of people.
u should be ashamed judging and stereotyping Innocent creature's. Any dog can act poorly due to a stupid owner. its ppl like U that give pit bulls bad names/reputations

Pit Bulls are not really the most dangerous type they might have been breed to fight and might look like they can hurt you but most of the time they are just lazy big sometiems fluffly little cuty-pie faces that will never harm you. I love Pit Bulls they are just so precious

Pit bull? you have the wrong impression of this breed if you think this is the meanest dog because these are some of the sweetest biggest babies I have ever come across hands down.

those are all the same breed... Red Nose just has a red-colored nose. Blue nose just has a blue colored nose... Not quite sure what "gator mouth" is, but I think thats a bloodline, like razor's edge.

A properly bred and raised pit is actually NOT mean. The breed is not suppossed to be human aggressive.

Ones that have been abused and tortured and fed gun powder.
Ive also heard that owners of nice bull breeds have a worse bite than their dog ever could :)

No mean dogs, only mean owners that train them to be mean and it is the pit-bull that suffers.

don't think of them this way......they need understanding and love also.....
