Why do you got a tummy aches when you laugh too hard?

Laughter contracts abdominal muscles. Hard laughter can cause the muscles to spasm. That is what causes the tummy pain.

In some cases you get stomach aches from laughing too hard, this is because when you laugh it works your stomach muscles. Like doing curl ups, etc....

LOL I hate that.. B/c of the muscles contracting in your stomach. That happens to me all the time I'm laughing soo hard until I cry. Then I have to close my eyes and cover my ears until I calm down.
