well i would imagine..
i mean they bleed, they are alive,
they are living animals, i mean
come on, WE feel pain dont we?
so why wouldnt they?

Yes they do. In fact a study done by "Outdoor Life" magazine in the '70's stated that Bass are the most intelligent fish and, will not bite again for up to fifteen minutes, like they remember what happen but, trout will have as many as four hooks on their mouths and, still bite right away.

This was the way it was tested, by their biting habits.
