have the tendency to sin again!

Likewise, Adam and Eve were created perfect, yet they sinned. So how can you call them perfect when they had the tendency to sin? In this sense, once people ascend to heaven, and become perfect, we are still very much capable of sinning again, and restart the whole cycle! You might attempt to say that the angels and Adam&Eve had free-will despite being perfect and that's why they sinned. But once we ascend to heaven we still have free-will don't we? How can people have free-will and not be able to sin at the same time? Particulary unborn babies who get a free pass to heaven, they haven't seen anything, so they might as well sin once they get to heaven? If you attempt to say that god already knows who will go to heaven and never sin, then why don't god just create only those who will never sin despite their free-will?

Go and ponder christians! I know you're thought not to think critically about your bible, but give it a try!

Um.. who said that angels and men are perfect?

False assumption.

Only God is perfect, and the only Son of man who ever walked the earth without sin was Jesus Christ.

And you already mentioned free will in your question, so I dont suppose I have to give you the lecture on that again, do I?

Ill just say that free will leaves open the door to sin. Its our choice to do the right or wrong thing. God wants us to love Him because we genuinely love Him. Not because He forces us to.

Once we have accepted Jesus... He died so that we could be saved from God's righteous judgment and make it to heaven and have eternal life.

Jesus will make our sins once crimson "as white as snow".

God Bless You.

Once Satan and his demons are thrown into the lake of fire, I think sin will be gone- he was the instigator of it, he was the one who tempted Eve- etc.

I do know that fallen angels are not offered redemption, perhaps because they had greater knowledge and therefore greater accountability than man. They had dwelt in the heavens with God. They had seen all the glories of heaven, they had seen the creation of the universe, yet they sinned.

The Bible does talk about Satan being bound for 1000 years, and then being loosed again to deceive whoever he can. This is AFTER the great tribulation, and we will be reigning with Christ during this 1000 years. So that implies that some will be deceived after living 1000 years with Christ. (Revelation 20)

So, while I don't really think we will in heaven after Satan is ultimately destroyed, I know that some will at some point in time.

I believe the blood of Christ will some day set us free from the very presence of sin.

Then Read Revelation 21
and take note of these verses:

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Since sin would bring death, sorrow, crying, and pain. I think this indicates the absence of sin.

Very interesting questions for debate! Satan sinned when he decided he knew more than God...his sin was pride and he got tossed out of heaven for that.

Thinking critically, I would say that people won't sin in heaven because we are too aware that we could never know more than God. Also, we will, according to the scriptures, be "changed". This means that our old sinful nature will be gone.

From you're question you sound like someone who knows what you believe but then, so do I. I hope my answer has at least let you know that some of us DO read the Bible with a critical eye. It's important to know why we believe something rather than follow blindly......Blessings!

***** In this sense, once people ascend to heaven, and become perfect, we are still very much capable of sinning again, and restart the whole cycle! ****

I believe that we are re incarnated and we all will experience this and many other life's over and over until full evolved and enlightened then the learning process stops. In this way you aren't really being punished as you are given the chance to go back and correct what you mucked up the time before.

I'm not religious like Bible religious but the gist of the whole thing from what i can gather is that you are to serve him out of love and there fore taking away your free will would not allow this to happen. (robot)

I think you made a darn good point because we all have free will, and I don't feel that there is an exception when it comes to being perfect you still have thoughts and feelings, I believe that i comes down to choice and that if you still really desire to be bad perfect or not perfect you will do it as they say where there is a will there is way.

There are some reasons to this yet i've got faith that devil grew to become into placed interior the backyard of Eden in his unfallen state to help Adam and Eve in worshiping God. devil knew that God gave all authority in earth to Adam so he tricked Adam and Eve into sinning and for this reason gave authority in the international over to devil. devil inspite of each and all the angels could in no way have the skill to overthrow God and he's conscious that his time is coming to an end while Jesus returns. Peace chum.

I believe it was in Gods plan from the beginning. If there would not have been the forbidden tree to eat of in the garden we would not have choices to make. Even though it was a bad idea to eat the forbidden fruit us to chose. If we can't make our own decisions then it would be dictatorship or we would be robots.

That's why God sent us his son Jesus Christ our Savior so those who have come to the light will have eternal life.

I could lie and say life is perfect. I could lie again and say life is imperfect. I could lie and say life is an illusion contradicting itself in every way possible.

When all is said and done, God wants true loyalty and only God knows why Satan and devils aren't worthy of Heaven.
