and they despise you for not accepting him as the second coming of Jesus, which when you really study your scripture, you see he can't be the one but these new disciples believe he is so they despise you for not seeing the truth as they explained it?

doesn't this actually sounds familiar? The Jews were expecting a messiah, then born Jesus who might have based his life on those prophecies, after he died his followers selected some passages from the Hebrew bible, add some metaphors and pierced them together to come up with the life of Jesus as if it was prophecised centuries before which the Jews themselves do not accept and do not believe he is the one.

A lot of people have followed men that claim to be the new Jesus Christ or His prophet on earth. Unfortunatly it tends to go very wrong after a while (Jim Jones and David Koresh are two examples that come to mind).
So I guess the believers in the new Jesus would just have to despise me....I wouldn't join them...Blessings!

Well if the alleged 2ND coming of Christ in human form is obviously not who we're looking for (which if they come in human form we can know they're not as Jesus says He'll be coming back in power aND glory next time) then we will simply have to weather the storm and wait for it to blow over, try to prevent people from being tricked into believing this "2nd coming of Christ" and wait to clean up after words. After all, what more can really be done than hold to the truth and keep others from slipping away as well?

I think religions arise every day claiming they are the only way. That's why we have problems between religions now, one has to be just a little bit better than the other....just a little bit more knowledgeable than the next guy.
Jesus will come back on a horse in all his glory, he will come from the east, everyone will know who he is, even the unbelievers will change there tunes. He is coming back for his church, for his bride, and it will not be very long.
Be ready!

The Bible says that no one knows the day or the hour Jesus is coming back. It also encourage us to be ready for His return. I don't care who dislikes me. I want to live now according to the Word of God so that when that time comes I will be ready. I have no time for arguments about stuff like people not liking me.

When Jesus comes, the entire world will know. Until that time, anyone else who claims they are Jesus is a liar. I don't care if followers of a liar and false prophet despise me!

It has already happened. A lot of cult leaders claim that they are the Jesus. But people just dint believe them, including I, because a close examination would tell you that they are hoax.
And Jesus said that when he comes back again its the end of the world already. And I'm still typing right?

The Second Coming of Jesus will be the end of the end my friend. Anybody who is outside the fold at that time has already missed the boat.

When? let's play the "if" game again... I won't believe it.
Why? because my Christ fulfilled all prophesies and descriptions listed in the OT. The chances of that happening even in one life are one in billions. No one before, nor after Him will ever live such a life again.
