I unfortunately own the Banjo baits. I like most of the fishing people was hosed into believing that this was the miracle bait. Goes under docks, weedless and yes fish just can't resist the movement and texture of the Banjo lure. Ya right, it sucks. In order for it to even work half a$$, you will need to have 3 rods with different lbs test to match it up to the size of Banjo bait. In all honesty, just stick to good old plastic baits and you will be much more successful. Banjo's are for playing not for fishing.

Personally the Banjo Minnow be yet another wanna-be. I've used one once and was not impressed ~ sorry. That be only my opinion. For something that produces for me with say Trout would be Nightcrawlers, Salmon Eggs (Pautske's Balls O Fire) Power Bait (mainly planted/stocked Trout), Meal Worms, Crickets (live), Panther Martin, Blue Fox Spinners, Kastmasters, and the Rapala's Original Floater has been good to me for a lot of different species. For Cat's (don't do them much anymore) it'd be Stink baits Chicken Liver, Anchovies, dead shiners, doughballs, heck as far as that goes, them guys will scarf just about anything. For Bass I'll leave that up to "Answers", Bass constituents ;). Hope it helped a bit and "Fish On ;)...

Note: 4 or 5 lb., Rainbow Trout with a worm ~ that be a preeety healthy "Bow", my friend ;)...

don't bother with the banjo. bass you cant go wrong with plastics or cranks. trout, spoons, spinners, live bait, power bait, roe, jigs, just about everything. catfish i would use a egg sinker a good length of leader, a nice sharp circle hook, and about the smelliest bait you can find.

I prefer live minnows. They work much better, and you don't have to do anything, just let it sit there...
