1) The Apostle Paul was a fallible-man.
2) Jesus was an Infallible man.
3) Fallible men have corrupted the message of Jesus.
4) If Paul didn't stay true, to Jesus' theology; then the Apostle
Paul corrupted Jesus' theology even if it was only one instance.
5) In that one instance how many could of fallen for this corrupt-theology, though an honest mistake?
6) If an honest mistake was made, how can we correct it?
7) And is that mistake found in the Bible; why or why not?
******8) If that honest mistake was corrected, would all gain access to eternal-life in heaven? Why or why not?*******
This( question #8) is the only one I'm truly concerned about, answer this(for/against) with good-logical-reasoning, with as few bible verses as possible(I want to know what you truly-believe, not what the 'bible' says) What does the bible of your mind say?*Ex-theist* you are welcome here under one-condition; consider the room your in, if you can't play nice, exit.
Theist?

:I'm willing to concede that scripture is infallible; and would change #3 to read:

ktbug333: Best logical-argument yet; And I'm willing to concede to every single, point on one conditon.
one-condition = Could #4 be said to be true before Paul's-conversion. Why or Why not? Again logical reasoning is key! Very good by the way, you are truly a worthy opponent!!

Annie: A very-brilliant distinction, and I thank you for it, and am and will be, I hope, a better-man for it. Other's may or may not have used logical-argument's to argue their point. But yours thus far, trumps all other's, becuase:
You used brilliant Logic, to speak to the intent behind the question: how are Paul & Jesus message's the same!
You, my friend, have uncommon-common sense. Christians, next to Jesus, I would pay attention to other post's by this gentlemen; unless someone can better this without plegeraism, I say 'best answer" goes to "Annie"; but out of Fairness will leave at minimum another 12 hours of discussion. Good luck, everyone else, and it's too early to say, but Annie, 'but you allready know, what i'm going to say.." {Matrix quote of the last few words from the oracle} Either answer will due, and won't effect my decision; but have you seen the 'Matrix', Annie and did you enjoy it? A non-answer is just as well, if your uncomfortable, but I am curious?

Andre: If the scriptures are infallible you are right, but(and I sincerely want to know), how can a fallible man, apostle or no, carry out Jesus or Paul's message infallibly, and if he can't, then why don't we hear more sermon's on the fallibility of the Apostle's rather then the Perfection of the Saints. Wouldn't this make them more approachable, or would the flock disperse in anguish or confusion?

Uncle Remus: A clever distinction about what Jew's didn't believe(What of Messianic-Jew's?). Are there exceptions, paranthetical-ones per haps, we're not considering?
Annie: Would you like to edit your argument, no need to, as I'm going to allow the people to vote, just remember I get to place a 'vote' as well, and if you want mine: i need a counter-argument. Please list "edit" or date where you chose to edit your argument, some sorta distinction that I can tell something has or hasn't change, that to you and everyone else..as well.....

Exactly where do you think the teachings of Paul differ from the teachings of Jesus Christ? There has been no deviation from Jesus' teachings from what Paul taught. Have you read any of Paul's' letters?

Remember that Jesus himself called Paul preach his gospel. Therefore they were both right for the following reason.
The Bible of my mind says that both Paul and Jesus were led by the same Spirit. Both as Annie wisely pointed out were the same gospel but to two different sets of believers. Jesus to the Jews and Paul to the Gentiles. It was not what Paul preached that allowed all of us (Gentiles) into the kingdom of heaven. Rather it was what the Jews themselves did not believe and rejected about Jesus and his gospel (it was to be a universal one) that did it.
This may be the "correction" you may be speaking about. I appreciate these kinds of questions.

the words *right* & *theology* have no place in this question, in my humble opinion........Jesus was Holy, the Son of God, He came for one purpose and that was to bring man back to God, by paying the ultimate price for our sins..... and I get blasted for this, but if people would very carefully *read* the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, there is scripture to back me up, Jesus came *first* for the Jew NOT the Gentiles.... He only spoke to 2, maybe 3 during His earthly ministry....... Jesus taught the Kingdom, and He taught that is was coming in there and then, IF all the land of Isreal would believe: they did not..... Paul became the Apostle to the Gentiles, teaching the *finished work* of the cross..... the Gentile was grafted into the vine by faith.........Jesus did not follow theology, He went by Gods, the Fathers' word ONLY....... Paul also went by the given Word of God.......there were NO mistakes made by either to my understanding of *the Word*......Jesus and Paul had the same yet different messages.... go in peace..... God bless

Paul was fallible but the words in scripture are not. here's a thought.. we know not all of Paul's letter are in scripture.. why not? because they had mistakes in them and God made sure they stayed out. God made sure the Bible says exactly what He wanted it to. even the letters in the NT that aren't written by Paul agree with what he taught...

1 & 2 are correct.
#3 is not My God has more power than any man.
he can keep his word true no matter what.
4, 5,6 are exempt.
7 if the word of God is not perfect then God is not perfect.
if God is not perfect then we have no Hope or escape from eternal damnation from our sins.
8. there is no mistake. man fell we have to knock, ask, seek.
repentance is the only escape, being born again of the water and the spirit.

You chose to draw a distinction between Jesus, and Paul who was the only Apostle chosen by God after the ascension.
I think it could be that you find fault with Paul.
But I think that you just don't understand Jesus. And that makes you worse than Paul.
John 9
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, "What? Are we blind too?"
41 Jesus said, "If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim you can see, your guilt remains."
