Honestly? It'd be cheaper just to find a set of rims that are already black with a chrome lip.

To plan for me. There are powder coating kits at Northern Tool and Harbor freight. If the rim will fit into your home oven you can get good results.

I just got a quote for toy fj cruiser wheels (17"). eighty per rim. shop is in L.B.,Ca. yes black will look good. try leaving the outer lip alum ( I like scotch-briting)& chrome lug nuts(if exposed). good luck
