Here's the deal. For our detentions, we used to sit in a room (no more than three to a classroom). We just sat there and did nothing, or write an essay about why we are in detention. Detentions were always 3:15 - 5:15 on fridays. You would just sit in your school uniform for 2 hours and then go home.

But last Friday was the friday that started Christmas Break, so kids were eager to get out. There were about 35 kids in detention that day. About 12 left their room without permission and just roamed the hallways. Two trashed a room when the teacher left for one minute and three left the school (all five were arrested and taken to the police station). The other 18 or so (including me) were perfectly fine.

But due to this, our school is overhauling our detentions.

So here is the deal. You come at 3:15 as usual, but your hands are handcuffed behind your back while you're sitting at your chair.

They said it's to prevent anymore lawsuits, and they said it's legal.

Is it?

I dont buy it either, sorry. What if there was a fire? The school would be liable if all those teenaged kids died because they couldn't get out! Or if a huge kid pummeled a smaller kid who was chained right behind him? If that is true (yeah right) call the police and then call your lawyer.

No they can not. They would be imprisoning you which is against the law. If they are not licensed to cuff such as a security guard or police officer it is false imprisonment and they could be sued and or jailed for their part in it. Not only that it is unsafe to do so. If the building caught fire they would not have time to uncuff 35 kids and let them out to safety.

i do no longer think of so. Opens the college and district as much as proceedings. I believe the respond above, however. you would be able to desire to be extra effective in college, learn nicely, and be extra efficient--and stay out of detention!

hey citicop i did what you said and your right, maybe you should report her to yahoo, it would be better coming from you as i have only been on the computer a couple of months, and you seem to have more experience, this girl has some kind of fetish with storytelling and handcuffs, hey girl you have too much time on your hands so why don't you write in a journal all of your handcuff fantasies, and let us answer questions that people with real problems have instead of wasting time and space on you, get a life, a job and a hobby

This is not true.

You get handcuffed more than some murderers, if you are to be believed (which you are not).

I strongly urge everyone to look at the list of previous questions she has asked.
