Do you ever thank the person that gave you the best answer either in the comment box or by emailing them (if you can) or both?

I keep my distance. I try to have liminial contact w/ anyone I don't personally know....
But I guess this is as good an oppertunity as any:

Yes,I would say a high percent of the time I write a comment saying Thankyou,also I like to check back to see if the person has left any comments for me to reply back to,

I try to send a thanks back to them via email. The only thing that stops me from doing this is if they have blocked their email. And yes, I always no matter what thank my best answerer with the comment box.

I will usually only reply or e-mail (usually only comment, though) if they said something in reply to my answer (yes, my 'best answer') and I feel like saying something back in reply to that specifically.
Usually, a thank you doesn't hurt anyway, so I don't see why you shouldn't...or wouldn't ^^

no lol. i dont know how to do that. and im sure others dont. but when i have given best answers out, i havent gotten anything back and i wasnt expecting to get emailed. but if you want to do that, that would be nice.
