Peter... He seemed to be a very empathetic person. He also had a habit of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time (something I can sympathize with lol)...

And Isaiah- the one rumored to have been "sawn asunder". I would like to hold his hands and cry and ask him how in the world he kept his integrity because that's my biggest irrational fear. He has been a great example of courage.

Also King Manasseh- the one who made his sons pass through the fire and who did on "a grand scale what was bad in the eyes of Jehovah, to offend him." I have used him countless times as an example of Jehovah God's loving kindness and forgiveness. No one I know, personally, can claim to be as bad as that king... and yet "he softened the face of Jehovah his God and kept humbling himself greatly because of the God of his forefathers. 13 And he kept praying to Him, so that He let himself be entreated by him and He heard his request for favor and restored him to Jerusalem to his kingship; and Ma·nas′seh came to know that Jehovah is the [true] God." Jehovah forgave him. (2 Chronicles 33:6, 12,13).

To have lived during Jesus' time would have, obviously, been a fascinating time. However, I have never been able to get Enoch out of my mind. Moses and Elisha were great, but Enoch was the first one to walk out of this Earth and directly into Heaven because he lived a life which was so much like God that he was more suited to Heaven than to this Earth. I would love to have been there to witness the life of Enoch.

Gen. 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
Gen. 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Heb. 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 1:16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

God bless.

I think I would feel more at home with Yeshua. He accepts me as I am, and has forgiven my sins. I would feel at home with several others...I think Enoch would have been interesting to talk to. Job and I have some things in common. King David was also pretty interesting. Moses too...wow...I don't know if I can stop going with this...I better quit while I am ahead, cause I don't think there is enough room to write them all down.

Well I have 2!
David, he was a man after Gods own heart. He did some stuff that God didn't approve of and yet in the end God still loved him and David always repented and did whats right.

Joseph, He had alot of junk happen to him in his life. Brothers hated him, they sold him to slavery, was accused of rape, thrown to prison. But through it all, it tells you that he didnt complain or lose faith in God to always be there for him. Its just amazing, bc people today if something really terrible happens to them, they automatically accuse God. But in reality they should be going to him. Joseph was just a man who never lost his faith.

Joseph or King Solomon.

They kept their faith even through adversity in their own way. Wise and blessed by God.

Job. He and I could wallow in self-pity -- at least for a while.

Jezebel... she seems to have known how to have a good time.

I also like Judith -- as long as I'm not Holofernes. "She may cut you..." as Muddy Waters put it. You'd want her on your side.

Guess I have a thing for the Js.

I think beside Jesus, of coruse, I would enjoy being with Eve, because she was close to God and she could teach me His ways and tell me what it was like to walk with Him in the garden.
