A Prophet is not a Saint! A Prophet is someone who has a special gift given by the Father in Heaven. A saint unless you are Catholic is a believer. If Catholic a person who has done many great things in the name of the Church.

Interesting question. Jesus said that he who is first will be last & last will be first.

Saint is anyone who is born of God. Born from above. Saint & Holy mean the same thing. A Prophet is a Saint. In the 5 fold ministries. First in importance is Apostles, then is Prophets, then is Evangelists, then is Pastors, then is Teachers. So? The ranking is associated to the ministries. Every Christian born of God is a Saint. And rewards are according to the individual & their obedience to the Word of God.

A Prophet reveals to others what the Lord is saying to the Church, City, Nation or World.

Everyone born of God is made the righteousness of Christ. So? The baby Christian is just as righteous as the mature Christian of 20yrs.

All believers are saints. A prophet, as someone said before, is like a job title. It is a gift that God gives someone, like having a 'Word of Knowledge,' healing, etc. I don't know the verse, but the Bible says "God is no respecter of persons," meaning we are all the same in God's eyes.

If it's a biblical prophet, he is a saint. Saints are just professing, true life christians.

You're comparing apples to oranges, so to speak.

neither they are both servants of God. a saint can be a prophet also it's just a matter of the anointing God has given them. so it's not about the title but about what they do with what God has given them.
just to remind you, cause it sounds like you are making saints out to be something they are not, every Christian is considered a saint according to the Bible.

Prophet.
A "saint" refers to any believer in the New Testament church. Paul refers to living saints in his Epistles.

Prophets are specific individuals chosen by God to speak His word to the people.

well being a Prophet is like a job title and they would be above a saint, which is a Christian. All Christians are saints.

No Prophets were humans sent by God to convey to other humans the reason for which humans were created "To Worship and obey God", by doing which they will be rewarded with paradise. they were bearers of glad tidings for the good-doers and warners for the evil-doers, warning of a torment of the Hell-Fire. They were inspired and God sent to them this message through the angels (namly: Gabriel).
First of all I don`t believe in saints, but I believe that what people call saints.... were not divinely inspired by God, they did not bear any particular message from God to His creatures.

no. actually the bible calls all believers saints. and a prophet isn't any better or worse than a preacher or the person who cleans the church.
