Her 17 year old son witnessed a murder and now her and her son have been subpoenaed. She doesn't want to go in because there is fear of gang retaliation/murder. What are her options?

Have the parent of the witness speak with the prosecuting attorney. There are options, most states' crime victims assistance can help with protection of the witness

Jail and a warrant being issued for her arrest....... Witness protection program until the trial is over...not many options.

It is hard sometimes doing the right thing esecially when you are scared. She should ask the law enforcement envovled about her concerns. Her son should maybe see a psycologist to help him cope..

THIS A GANG RELATED MURDER. RICO SHOULD APPLY FOR FEDERAL WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM. FEDS WILL PROTECT AND MOVE AWAY FROM AREA DURING AND AFTER TRIAL WITH NEW IDENTITIES.

it is the law to go in and her fear is explainable but sometimes you have to put your fears aside for the good
