Ok...i have one modem and one computer. if i disconnect the ethernet cable from from my modem to connect it to the ps3 ...will my pc internet still work...cuz i dont have a router because i only have one pc. so how do i connect it???? PLEAS HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Once you connect it to your PS3, reset your modem by unplugging power (and removing the battery if you have one) for 30 seconds. Plug it back up and it should automatically configure itself. You would have to do this again once you re-connect it to your PC.

If you remove modem from your PC - the connection is lost. A wired router costs around 35$. That's the only solution if you want your PS3 and PC to have an internet connection at the same time.
