British trains are heavily subsidized by the government - not so in the US. There won't be changes in US passenger rail unless state or federal governments provide some money to improve and maintain railways - like they do for highways.

important line trains (even people who run in basic terms interior London) are not lined interior the ban, because of the fact they're classed as area of nationwide Rail and the Mayor of London has no say in how they're run. Any decision approximately banning alcohol on those trains would must be taken at a nationwide point, i.e. by utilising the British government. different than that, it rather is as much as the guy practice agencies.

Take a plane if you're in such a big hurry. Oh, and stop worrying about what 3rd rate european countries are doing. If you're environmentally concious, you shouldn't be commuting so far anyway. Move closer to your workplace and quit wasting so much time and energy.

Look at a map sometime. Lots more ground to cover over here. I'd rather hop a plane.
