Unfortunately everyone thinks that their tradition is the only right one. Jesus was jewish, but he did question the jewish teachings. But.. he certainly didn't teach what traditional Christianity (Catholic or protestant) teaches.

Catholicism is not the true religion -- that's for sure. If they were, then they wouldn't have persecuted and slaughtered, from 538 A.D. to 1798 A.D., so many Saturday Sabbath keepers and others whom wouldn't kowtow to the papal system.

Yes, Judaism was the religion of Jesus as He was growing up. But He condemned that religion (Luke 13:34, 35) because it refused to accept Him. Thus, from His disciples, a new religion started which was first called Christianity at Antioch. (Acts 11:26)

The true religion of Jesus is still Christianity, today. However, even among Christianity, the pagan infiltrations are many. Except these are removed, they can prevent your entry into the Kingdom of God when He Comes. (Revelation 18)

No denominational member is guaranteed a place in Heaven because of the doctrines of that denomination. By the same token, though, the reverse is also true. No denominational member is guaranteed a place in Hell because of the doctrines of that denomination. Salvation is an individual thing.

God bless.

Jesus was a Jew.

Christians believe Jesus Christ was the messiah; they believe he was crucified and ressurected and brings salvation to all that believe in him. This is a "new covenant" with God, they believe. Those who believe in salvation through Jesus Christ are considered Christians. So yes, Jesus was Jewish, but Christianity began with Jesus.

Catholicism was the first Christian church. The only people I've ever head say it is the "true religion" are Catholics. Everyone believes their religion is the true religion.

Personally, I don't think most of it is a true literal story, or that there is one true religion, but there you have the answer.

According the Vatican doctrine, Jews are also under a covenant of salvation. The argument you'll find with some Catholics is that the Catholic church is the true church of Christianity.

As a Catholic, I believe the path to God's saving grace can and is found in many other Christian denominations. So a denominational pissing match does nobody any good.

Actually, Judaism used to contain many more prophecies about Jesus Christ, but they kept getting taken out of the records because no one wanted to believe they would turn over their own Messiah to be killed. The only thing is that was exactly what they were supposed to do, and it was all planned out thousands of years before it even happened. It would be more correct to look for the branch of Christianity which incorporates all or most of the records of the wonderful Jewish people. In my opinion, that would be the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Have a happy day, and I send you a gummy bear.

Jesus never endorsed any religion. He even openly rebuked the Pharisees for shoving religion into people. Jesus was more concerned that people have a genuine and sincere "relationship" with Him by believing and following Him. Read John 3:16 and John 14:6.

Jesus Christ was more than a Jewish man. He is God the Son, the second person of the Holy Trinity.

Jesus Christ intended to start a new religion. Matthew 16:17-19 states:

Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

With love in Christ.

Jesus (Yeshua) IS a Jew, He is alive & well.
Catholicism like all religions believe they r the true religion.
But God gave His Son to worship, not some man in Italy, or anywhere else.
Yeshua is Hebrew He kept all the law He gave to Moses.

In truth "Jesus" was a Hebrew not a Jew.

I myself do not think that Catholicism is the true religion. There is no such thing as a "true religion".
You believe that which you choose to believe.

It is unfortunate that there are individuals in our world that wish to kill me because I live and believe differently then them.

Sam

PS: Reality must be something that others wish not to see, The TD's I have thus far received must be from the Sects that wish to cause harm to me. The truth is that Jesus was a Hebrew, there is no "true Religion", so please continue to crucify me as they crucified him.

A. The keys Jesus meant whilst He gave 'them' to Peter develop into the notice of God as Peter is the chief of the 12 disciples. He and the others could unfold the good information all around and by employing so doing open the gates of heaven to those who believed. Christ never suggested Peter could be a Pope or something comparable. All Christ did develop into provide them the super value whilst He ascended. B. Baptist church homes additionally does this yet refers to it through fact the Lord's Supper and it is comprehensive to remember Christ and what His sacrifice meant. additionally with regard to the perception that one ought to admit and not be responsible of mortal sin, Christ died as quickly as and for all sins as a result Baptists and Protestants have self assurance in yet in a distinctive way through fact Catholics believes that engaging in the Eucharist additionally cleanses them while the former 2 do it remember Christ. C. Confession ought to be executed to God without delay and for my section. inspite of each thing, He forgives your sins and He can examine your suggestions and coronary heart so He is familiar with in the journey that your relatively sorry or no longer. Christ's blood cleanses us from our unique Sin (the sin that Adam dedicated and led to sin to go into the international that's surpassed right down to all). All different sins we commit we confess to God. "If we confess our sins he's righteous and easily to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" a million John a million:9. faith without works is definitely ineffective. The Bible says it. in assessment to Catholic ideals Baptists and Protestants have self assurance that all and sundry will surely provide an account of their lives on the final day yet they are going to be the two given rewards or have it taken away yet that does no longer mean they are going to be condemned in the event that they're certainly Christians. in the tip Im in simple terms making a assessment yet all i will end is this: no remember if Catholic or Baptist, as long as Jesus Christ is on the midsection and source of your faith, then this is good. absolutely everyone who isn't against Him is for Him. faith makes you non secular yet Christ makes you righteous.
