Obviously, then, some good people go to heaven. But do all good people go to heaven? What about man’s home—the earth? Is it to be destroyed by nuclear war to become a burned cinder floating in space? Definitely not. The Bible says: “A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to time indefinite.” (Ecclesiastes 1:4) And why should the Creator destroy this beautiful earth, even though parts of it have been polluted by selfish people? God’s Word promises: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.”
Evidently, then, the earth has an interesting future. In his famous Sermon on the Mount, Jesus foretold: “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.” (Matthew 5:5) Moreover, the last Bible book, Revelation, indicates that the earth will become a paradise. Concerning obedient mankind, it says: “God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.”Revelation 21:3, 4.

The Day of Judgment
[39:68] The horn will be blown, whereupon everyone in the heavens and the earth will be struck unconscious, except those who will be spared by GOD. Then it will be blown another time, whereupon they will all rise up, looking.
[39:69] Then the earth will shine with the light of its Lord. The record will be proclaimed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forth. Everyone will then be judged equitably, without the least injustice.
[39:70] Every soul will be paid for whatever it did, for He is fully aware of everything they have done.
The Disbelievers
[39:71] Those who disbelieved will be led to Hell in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, "Did you not receive messengers from among you, who recited to you the revelations of your Lord, and warned you about meeting this day?" They will answer, "Yes indeed. But the word `retribution' was already stamped upon the disbelievers."
[39:72] It will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell, wherein you abide forever." What a miserable destiny for the arrogant.
The Believers
[39:73] Those who reverenced their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. When they get to it, and its gates are opened, its guards will say, "Peace be upon you; you have won. Therefore, you abide herein forever."
[39:74] They will say, "Praise be to GOD, who fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the earth, enjoying Paradise as we please." What a beautiful recompense for the workers!
[39:75] You will see the angels floating around the throne, glorifying and praising their Lord. After the equitable judgment is issued to all, it will be proclaimed: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe."
*39:68 The sequence of events on the Day of Resurrection begins with the symbolic blowing of the horn. The second blowing of the horn-by a creature who was spared from unconsciousness-marks the resurrection of all people; they will be resurrected on today's earth. This earth will then be destroyed by the physical coming of God, then a new earth and new heavens will be created (14:48).

Many are like you so don't feel alone. This is because they are still not been born again by the water and the Spirit (John 3:5). You see once you have come His way He only then opens up the treasure trove of heaven. Before it is shut up firmly. If you were truly born again you would have access into the mystery and secrets of the Bible, and this question would be easy peasy to answer. You will of course get many different answers, but each one will differ....ask why...we can only have one correct answer. The reason for this is that God has shut this door to them and they are only using their fleshly minds.
I would like you to read the sermons in these books, in it you will find all your answers.

It means that the meek shall inherit the earth before the world comes to an end, i.e. before the Day of Judgment which will happen afterward.

I don't care where, some earth , some heaven . I'll be with Jesus. Most of JW in earth or else. the rest in heaven or else.
Don't you worry about that, just keep yourself close to the Lord Almighty.

yes those are great scriptures, also in conjuction with those
When we as humans live and view our lives and think about our future, even our immediate future, we envision our lives, even ourselves as older people on the earth, as humans, when people (at least I do, and others I've spoken with) I've never heard, like well when I get older I see myself living in Heaven and doing this and that..... God created humans to live on the earth, that was his purpose, he created us with the desire to live, not to die, and that purpose, from my bible studies has proved to me that is the case, our lives are meant for the earth, and longer than our normal life span we have now.
(Genesis 1:28-30) . . .Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.” 29 And God went on to say: “Here I have given to YOU all vegetation bearing seed which is on the surface of the whole earth and every tree on which there is the fruit of a tree bearing seed. To YOU let it serve as food. 30 And to every wild beast of the earth and to every flying creature of the heavens and to everything moving upon the earth in which there is life as a soul I have given all green vegetation for food.” And it came to be so.
(Psalm 115:16) . . .As regards the heavens, to Jehovah the heavens belong, But the earth he has given to the sons of men.
I also think if it was God's original plan for us to just live in heaven:
1) it would be clearly stated in the Bible, no guessing games about it
2) why start on the earth if we were going to end up there anyways...

you are referring to scripture that talks directly to the Jew
We stand to inherit a kingdom with Jesus, an eternal kingdom
We, if we choose, shall rule with Him for one thousand years on this earth
Until the last battle of armageddon at the end of that 1,000 years rule, we will be returned to the earth to help with the administration of His Kingdom on the earth
then eternity is where we are headed with a new perfect body never to see death or tears or sorrow. And that is the short essence of it, but not the whole story,
go to an independant Baptist church and God will teach you more

Access to all may very well lay with each and everyone of us. We truely under estimate the power we as human posses. With the big egos and greed up on this planet today, our destiny and purpose has been lost. Many books out there to open closed doors such as "The power of Now!" by Eckhart Tolle and "When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron. Worth reading and learning from.

Not all people go to heaven, (some do go to heaven, [I'm not one of them] but a limited number to rule as kings with Jesus Re 20:6) that wasn't God's purpose for humans in the begining Remember when God created Adam & Eve, they were PERFECT he gave them the order to fill the earth (with perfect people) but they sinned, Well he immeditaly gave the 1st phrophecy in the Bible where he said he WOULD FIX THINGS Gen 3:15
So how would he fix things? well there had been a ISSUE raised in front of his heavenly civilazation, Satan called God a Liar (Genesis 3:4-5) . . .At this the serpent said to the woman: “YOU positively will not die. 5 For God knows that in the very day of YOUR eating from it YOUR eyes are bound to be opened and YOU are bound to be like God, KNOWING good and bad.”
well God's purpose has not changed, do you pray for the coming of the Kingdom? Do you know what the Kingdom is & what it will do? see what Jesus said
(Luke 4:43) . . .But he said to them: “Also to other cities I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth. . .
so what was this Good News of the Kingdom? do you know?
here's another phrophecy that will soon be fulfillled, Jesus gave us a preview of it when he was on the earth
(Isaiah 35:5-6) . . .At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. 6 At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness. . .
yes Paul also talked about this
(1 Corinthians 15:24-26) 24 Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. 26 As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.. . .
you see Adam lived 930 yrs, thats because he went from a 1.00 % perfect to a .999999999 imperfect, Man was designed to live forever on the earth, & that will happen to those who meet God's requirement to find out more go to www.watchtower.org
And for those of you who believe the earth will be destroyed, consider what 'God said to Noah,,
(Genesis 8:21) . . .“NEVER AGAIN shall I call down evil upon the ground on man’s account, because the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up; and never again shall I deal EVERY LIVING THING a blow just as I have done.
this is not talking about a flood. see how he worded it in
(2 Peter 3:5-7) . . .For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and by those [means] the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men.
you see the world refered to the world of humankind. the heavens represented the ruling authorities

Actually Kitty I think that we do, and this is why.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don
