Situps will only get you so far. The abdominal muscles work like every other muslce in the body and should be treated like so. To gain size in your muscles, you need to force them to grow by increasign resistance. Getting abs is a combination of making your ab muscles grow and losing fat on your stomach. You should move onto WEIGHTED ab exercises like holding a 25lb plate while doing situps and things like that. It's a complete waste of time to do the same exercise over and over for years.....when do your muscles ever get a challenge if they're used to crunches all the time? Switch up your ab routine and challenge yourself....you will see results.

It takes a full body approach and some knowledge. I learned alot from http://www.uncoveryourabs.com I used to think it was just about crunches, no way.

Yeah sit-ups and crunches. Try using a pilates ball, that helps too.

Lay on floor, suck in and tighten abs, raise legs up , together and perfectly straight, bend and point your feet. 15-20 reps.

sit ups work your mussels,but not the ones u see. u have to do crunches. is it called crunches when u come up in a sit up ,but turn to one side?

just continue to stay active, do cardio exercises like running, and continue to eat good.

i do situps each night before bed..works like a charm!
