If the issue is with the screen itself, you are out of luck because it is not fixable and the entire screen needs to be replaced which will cost more than you paid for it. If it something internally, call a normal TV repair person. If it is the bulb, very easy to fix, but make sure it is unplugged. Consumer Reports actually says in their magazine that when it comes to plasma and LCD TVs, it IS actually a good idea to buy a service contract.

With GREAT difficulty... Hate to tell you this, but you probably can't- without shelling out enough $$$ to buy a New one... New TV's are among the BIGGEST rip-offs on the Market if you don't have a Service Contract...:(
