If you read the Bible backwards - from right to left - then you become Jewish. But do not fear - we've got connections and go to heaven ;-)

Anyone can read the bible, or any other "sacred" book.
I know many atheists that have read the bible, because you have to know what you reject or critizice...
The bible is a fairy tale, made and re-made by humans. It is full of myths, contradictory rules and violence, revenge and anger.
The god pictured on the Bible is a dark being. One that does not speaks about love, acceptation and forgiveness, but about revenge, idolatry and war. Women are pictured as slaves. The whole bible world is based on cultures and times that no longer exist. Human rights fighters would be surprised...and many "Christians" if they REALLY take the time to READ the whole bible and see the anger, the violence against women, against anyone who is different, etc. and the nonsense (like Cain and Abel marrying...who did they marry if they were the only two sons from Adan and Eve? So they were other people out there...)
An atheist reading the bible would be more atheist, and because they don't believe in heaven or any kind of after life, they don't care what could happen to them if they read it (or not).

If they are doing it while listening to some Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath backwards, then maybe there's a chance in hell that they will. Might have to use the back door though.

reading the Bible - backwards or forwards
is not on the list to get you to Heaven

There must be a decision of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord

have a great 2008

first of all its pretty hard to read the bible (or anybook) backwards "accidentally"

I suspect most atheists have read the bible many times, and found too many contraditions it it to continue to be Christains.. and as such became Atheists...

No. An atheist would have to read the Bible in pitch darkness, unable to see a thing. Then, possibly.

Apparently, someone has translated the book of Daniel backwards. It actually had relevant things in it.

If there is a Heaven and an atheist is a good person, they deserve to go there.

Good news. If an atheist reads the Bible at all, he/she will be one step closer to understanding the truth. I'd encourage atheists to give it a try, and see what happens.
