Word Perfect Freezes while trying to start up?? Help!?

I just downloaded the trial version of word perfect....but every time I try to open it up, It freezes, So I've never got to use it!


What should I do?

Uninstall it and then download and install a different instance of the program.

Often, software programs can become corrupt, and when they do all sorts of odd behavior can occur, including failure to open. The first step in fixing a software related issue, is to remove it and then reinstall it.

I know it sounds like a headache, but it will probably fix your issue. Files can also become corrupt in the download process, so just go ahead and remove/reinstall.

If you decide you do not like Word Perfect, or do not have the $$ to pay for it after the trial period, perhaps you should consider the Open Office suite of applications. These apps are very much like Microsoft Office, in that they are full featured programs, and are free for everyone to use and even take apart and rebuild.

They are built on the open source code, which belongs to the Internet community. So, there are not any End User license agreements, or any restrictions of any type.
