I have a 1.5Mbps download speed, but it really means in downloading and serfing the Internet. In downloading files I usually average about 150Kbps, and it took me about six minutes to download the files for Quicktime and iTunes. Both come in the download package, not just the one, and you can't get just the one.

While you are downloading the box which shows the progress should also inform you of the speed. If this is not the speed you believe you should get, contact your ISP and ask questions. An half hour/hour is rediculous for a broadband connection, even one which is the lowest contract speed level.

Hope this helps, please have a good evening.
