Pediatricians don't pierce ears. Take him/her to mall to get them done. I know that there are rumors that you get infections from the store Claire's if you get your ears pierced there, but it's not true. I got 2 sets or ear piercings done there before and last year my daughter got hers don't there. We both didn't have any problems with infections. My daughter was 1, I love her, and I am a responsible parent. Would I really let my daughter get her ears pierced if I thought that she could get an infection? Just watch them clean the gun and earrings to see if they are cleaned thoroughly.

I'm not sure what stores are available in Brooklyn.

Personally I would just go to a store that does piercing like a Claire's.... The piercing is done with the actual earring. Or purchase a one time use piercing gun and do it yourself.

I don't think that pediatrician's even pierce kid's ears. You could go to a piercing place or go to a jewerly store like Claires or Icing.

Some peds still do it but they are always crooked! Go to a nice jewelery store and just make sure that all of the little earrings and supplies are all individually wrapped up in their own little sterile packages!
Babies look so cute with their ears pierced.
Good luck!

doctors don't pierce ears. try jewelry/accessory stores or places like The Piercing Pagoda. You probably will have to fill out a liability form though wherever you decide to go...at least at a reputable one.
