God made us in our souls prior to placing us into our human form at conception. Our souls contain the source and life, memory, will and intellect of our created properties that make us unique as to personality and giftedness. They are also the source of our communication with God through prayerlife and sacrament. St. Theresa of Avila, a Doctor of the Church, states that our souls are the mansions which Jesus spoke of in the Gospel, which He would make ready for heaven. Also, Jesus spoke of his Father as the gardner who prunes and tends the vines and the plants of this mansion, which is described by St. Teresa in a book called The Interior Castle. Carmelite Theology is among the most difficult to comprehend. However she states that prayer is the water that supplies for this garden and that Christ takes up His dwelling place only in souls that reach a significant degree of holiness. This is possible with the sacramental way of life and consecration.

I say yes as we are energy beyond the physical body. I believe there is a strong argument for reincarnation after doubting it and studying it for many years. Where did this energy come from and how does it live on? Why shouldn't this energy stay a part of a greater Universe? I see no reason why it wouldn't. This is just my opinion and I do respect what others feel about this. Many blessings.

Yes in the mind of God which is outside of time. Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Do you beleive you will exist after you die? If you do than you must beleive you existed before you were born. It is your soul traveling through space and time.

You can't know the truth of this question until you go there. The funny thing is that if you knew the truth of the question, no one would believe you. As for me, the awareness in you has been around as long as God.
