Don't throw away money at a vet.

Depending on how much it drank, it may not be able to sleep tonight.

Do not let this happen again. You could kill your bird by not being responsible and supervising it at all times.

don't panick. It's really not the big of a deal. The list of unhealthy bird foods are correct. However, as with humans just because you eat something thats not good for you doesn't mean you are going to die. You don't want to allow him drink coffee on a regular basis. But, don't rush to the vet or anything. He will be fine.

As long as he did not drink a HUGE amount, there is little to worry about. It may make him hyper, and may speed up his heart a bit, but is unlikely to harm him if this is not a regular event.
Too much could put a strain on his heart which could be a serious problem,. Also, it could cause him to fly around to fast, perhaps bumping into thing.
Just keep him in his cage today, and he should be fine.

Good luck

wide-spread and healthful. I, too have a quaker. He did no longer drink water from a status source for with reference to the 1st 12 months yet did drink drops,(off arms, cage, backside of putting cup, and so on). Do you provide him baths? ( Mikey has a shallow glass cake pan that I placed some million inch of cool (tepid) water in.) If he would not be attentive to what to do with it, in simple terms pat the floor of the water and permit drops splash up jointly as encouraging him to "take a shower. Wanna take a shower?"

He'll be fine..just don't make a habit of it...my cockatiel used to like to drink the beer out of the edges of beer cans....and I once had a ferret who liked to drink Grand Marnier (liquor) that was left over in a glass on the coffee table...both have lived great long lives.
