To say you could "never live down" something, would mean it's something you'll never get over or be able to forget about until the day you die. Either she meant you're so fantastic that she could never top it or that you're so awful that she could never be as terrible as you are. It depends on the tone or her voice. If she sounded sarcastic when she said it, she meant it in a negative way.

I hope she was kidding! If she was serious, it meant that she was ashamed or at least embarrassed to have you as friends and expects to feel the same way when she remembers you years later. But I imagine she meant belonging to your group was one of those youthful follies she'll look back on and chuckle about fondly.
