Hi.
A 15 month old baby should sleep right through the night and not wake for feeds, assuming he is well nourished throughout the day. It would seem as though you have taught him to wake up like this by offering him a feed when he has woken out of a natural sleep cycle instead of teaching him to resettle himself. Now it has become an ingrained habit that will be hard to get him out of, but not impossible.
The most effective method of encouraging a little one to go back to sleep if they wake unsettled in the night is controlled crying. You always respond when he is upset but don't offer anything other than a cuddle or pat and tell him "Shhh, go to sleep" and then leave him. If he continues go back in and repeat this, gradually lengthening the amount of time you are gone, until he finally settles to sleep. (Never let a baby/toddler "cry it out" - it creates a sense of mistrust and abandonment and only makes sleep problems worse). If you are consistent and stick to this method it should work (most experts advocate this method).
Does he have a comfort item? A dummy (pacifier) or soft toy or a cot attachment that plays music & lights can be very soothing.
Give it a go, it will be worth it, even if it is hard at first - it might take several days but he will learn and it is better to do it sooner than later.
He should be sleeping for around 10-12 hours, with a nap of about 2 hours in the middle of the day. A good bedtime would be around 7pm for any child under 4.
Good luck!

Your child is now a toddler and should be sleeping through the night.
Do not cut him off cold turkey.
Bring him a small bottle with just a little water.Never put a baby down with a bottle of milk or juice. If they suck on it for ages it can cause choking as the child is falling asleep and it will also cause bad tooth decay.
Change his diaper and put him back down. NO talking or bright lights. He will cry but do not reinforce that. it will be a long few nights.
Do the same at 4/5 am.
When he wakes naturally around 6-8 am , get him up , have breakfast and continue on with your day.
Good luck

THis is odd.. my baby is 4 months and she goes to bed around 8-9ish, and doesn't wake up until 7-8ish... and then goes back to sleep untill around 10. no naps really during the day.. maybe an hour tops... he should sleep 14-16 hours a day... and try using a binki to hold him over... or let him cry for 5 minutes and see if he goes back to sleep if not.. then give him the bottle. I read a book that talked about this and it said to let him know that night time isn't a time to feed.. and so just stand over him and let him know your there.. but don't give him anything.. it may be hard.. but he'll get it eventually and not wake up at all.

I'd give him a high protein snack at bedtime.
Is he sleeping in your bed or in the room with you? It is possible that he is not really hungry and not really waking up all the way. It is possible that you think he is awake or hungry but he is not since you say he falls asleep as soon as he has the bottle in his mouth. Also, let him just out-and-out CRY before you get up and get him a bottle. It's possible he will just whimper a little bit and go back to sleep. By getting up and getting him a bottle, you are re-inforcing his nightime feedings. At 15 months he should be sleeping all night. You need a good nights sleep.

Your baby should be sleeping all night by now. At 6 months babies no longer need to be fed at night (nutrition wise). I would let him cry it out. I did that when my son was a year and now he's 16 months he goes to bed at 8pm and gets up at 8 in the morning (and sometimes later) I also have a 2 month old so I get at least 6 hours a night now.And I have already pushed her feedings 15 min later, and she's starting to sleep longer with out having to be nursed to sleep.

My son has been sleeping 8pm- 6pm then back to sleep until 8ish am since he was 3 months. What youcan do is start giving him a bottle when he wakes up in the middle of the night... of water... Keep doing that and ur baby will not care for it. Once they get into the habbit of getting fed in the middle of the night, their bodies are counting on it... the body wants the calories.... If u get the baby into the habbit of having water, their body gets used to not needing the feeding. A nurse told me this. ALso my son does not like water so he woulnt drink it and then would learn not to wake up for it cuz he didnt liek it.

Babies are all different - some don't sleep all night until they are 2 or 3. Continue to comfort your baby back to sleep when he wakes up. He'll sleep through the night when he is ready.

At that age he should be sleeping through the night without waking up for about 10 hrs or so. The best way to get a child to sleep through the night is to making them learn to self sooth. I've had to do it with both of my children, and I honestly believe it was harder on me than on either of them. You and he both will get less sleep for maybe a week, probably less, but he will learn that he can go back to sleep on his own. Now of course you know your child's cry and if something is truly wrong go to him but otherwise you have to let them learn to get back to sleep on there own.
