Never. I never treat something as emotionally committed as sex in such a casual manner.

I think it's OK if the people involved are mature enough to handle it. Two friends I know regularly have one night stands- one easily distances herself from the person afterwards & isn't particularly fussed if she hears from the guy again whereas the other one often ends up in tears over it and wonders why she can't find herself a guy who wants to stick around and become her boyfriend. In the case of my first friend, I have no issues about it coz that's her business who she sleeps with & she can deal with the consequences of her actions. Friend number 2 on the other hand is a total basket case & often ends up on my doorstep in a flood of tears berating herself for being 'so stupid'. It's really difficult to see someone with her finger stuck on the self-destruct button permanently, but she knows she needs to clean up her act. She lives in student residence accommodation at university & is building quite a reputation for herself as being the campus hoe. So, in answer to your question, I think one night stands depend entirely on the maturity of the individuals involved to be able to deal with the repercussions afterwards.

Yes, if you are honest with everyone involved. If you are dating or married, tell your s/o, they have a right to know, but this is your body. And if you think its a one night stand, make sure the other person knows its a one time thing.

If your single its fine, but to many one night stands sends signals to guys that your a player, so do it on a down low. If your in a relationship its a big NO NO.

I've never had a one night stand. But I guess if thats what you want to do it's ok, as long as you are both consenting adults and use protection).

It depends on your personal point of view. Can you accept the fact of not being able to have this person again, or - if you're a woman - of letting some guy have you with no strings attached. It can bother some people but others have no problem with it.

Why do you want one in the first place???
If your pants are that hot go ahead but make sure you use protection whether you are a man or a woman....pregnancy and aids are dying to catch up with you for a one nighter!!!!

Personally, it wouldn't be the right thing to do for me. I must say, attitudes on this vary MASSIVELY according to country, but it's not seen as a good thing where I come from, no.

I've only had one in high school and never had one since. They can make a girl feel cheap but if you really don't mind then he will not either.
