i was dusting my glass entertainment center and i set the ps3 on the floor on its side. well i bumped it and it fell over. but it happened on carpet. it seems to be working fine, plays games, blu-rays, internet.
is it going to be ok?

Its fine. I've seen videos of a weirdo taking a sledge hammer at a PS3... It took him a while. LOL.

If the PS3 plays everything just fine, then it should be o.k.
That's the reason why I never have had any of my consoles standing up vertically because they are very easy to tip over. I do turn my PS3 on it's side sometimes to wipe it down, but just try to be more careful next time though.

because if something drops usually something breaks!

yes sony pretdicted this would happen, that why the thing is so heavy, to protect it, dont worry it will be fine, set it on its flat if u can this time
