Go in the Army I would guess. Most people join the Marines to fight for your country and hopefully not die but be willing too if it is necessary and happens. I get more depressed when my Marines die then other branches so make it the Army. If you want to die toss out the Navy and Air Force because the odds are against you seeing combat so between the Army and Marines go with the Army.
Maybe you should go with the Marines though-the Corps is a family and you might find something worth living for. The once a Marine always a Marine thing is true and Marines are never alone. Why Marines dying bothers me more then others. If your problem is feeling alone and not having a family then you might find a family in the Corps and then you could always decide to live because the Marines are always family-past-present and future.

Actually what you want to do is make a bunch of terrorists die for their country or their Ayatollahs and Mullahs as the case may be..
You want to live so that you can go on to fight another day.
Actually any of the branches of the service would be great, whether that branch of the service is the Army, the Navy, the Air Force or the Marines.
I thank you in advance for your service.

If you had common sense, you wouldn't put it in those words, Our troops don't sign up to DIE, they sign up to protect people like you, so next time you post a question like this, use your "common sense" and reword it with some respect.
2nd. You can only have someone if you allow yourself to, and from the sounds of it... you don't. You went to a friggin' university, you should have a job then right? I mean... two years should pay off.
Good Luck, Don't enlist into the military if you're just going to die, do it if you really want to fight for our rights, and your people.

If dying is part of your plan, you could join a para-military clown corps with big feet to step on land mines. If you plan to live and serve, there are good options in all branches of the service. I think the training would give you a good outlook on life and give you some direction.

I'm grateful they are "hiring". My son is an Engineer in the U.S. Air Force. He needs some help in his department. They are bringing in lots of civilian contractors and very little military personnel to fill the jobs. His chances of being deployed for combat are almost nil. But when the opportunities arises, he still has to go near those areas to service the planes. It takes a special person to join the military and do a good job. He loves what he does and we are all thankful he has a "steady" job. Although, he has told us, there is always the chance they will make cut backs and he could be one of them. Today, nothing is a given.

As a combat NCO the first and biggest lesson you learn is that you are there to make sure the other guys die for their country. You should live for yours and if you can get in the USMC will take of you as long you work for it. So will the other branches

If you want to die, you need some mental help ASAP.
Trying to join the military because you are lonely and want to die puts the mission, as well as the lives of other soldiers who have families and children at a risk of dying needlessly.
Please don't join if you just want to be some kind of twisted martyr. My husband is a soldier and I would want him serving next to someone who wants to make sure he, and his brother soldiers, make it home alive and well.

The Military won't want you.
You would be a danger to the other troops.
You don't win wars by dying for your country. You win wars by making the OTHER poor dumb ba$t@rd die for HIS country.
Gen. Patton.

None!! If you're in such a hurry to die, join a Christian religion and volunteer to go to North Africa and teach the Gospel to the Muslims.
Stay the hell out of the Military. You might get someone killed who wants to live.
