I'm 16 at the moment, but will have turned 17 when I go over in summer- if anyone's seen the show, could you tell me if there's an age restriction to the show? I don't know if I have to be 18 or not? Thanks.

Save your money. The Moulin Rouge is just another Las Vegas type show. You can see the same thing in Vegas for a lot less. There is nothing glamorous, sophisticated, or hip about the Moulin Rouge these days. To give you an idea of how tame the show is, they allow anyone over the age of 6 to enter. (and yes, that's 6 not 16)

The place is filled with gawking tourists and other assorted halfwits who have been fleeced out of the money. The cheapest show (the 11 PM showing) costs €89. The usual dinner package runs €145

If what you want to do is look at pretty girls with bare breasts (and only some of the dancers are topless) there are lots of ways to do that in Paris that are a lot cheaper.

I'm a mature 17 year old and I would not recommend it. I've seen topless women in movies before but it was very uncomfortable watching these scenes with my mom, dad, older sister, and/or younger brother. Many times in movies, topless scenes are not provocative like it would be at the Moulin Rouge. Not only that, but seeing nudity in the movies is completely different from seeing it in person so even some one who has seen topless women in the movies would not be prepared to see women's bare breasts right in front of their face. The atmosphere is adult and is not usually appropriate for young people. The area is kind of seedy and can be dangerous for a young girl. In conclusion, I would not recommend it and agree with earlier answers that you should instead find something more classy and less expensive.

As long as you have $500.00 to blow, they'll be happy to let you in.
