OK... Phylogenectic trees look at similarities between species- the more similarities, the more likely the species in question are related.

So, the above statements partaining to similar traits are true:
B) Comparing nucleic acids... to build phylogenetic trees.
DNA comparison is always a good method.
C) Utilize homologies in [phylogenetic tree] construction
Looking at similarities is the Point.
D) Comparing physical appearances...
Before genetic analysis, this was the ONLY way to do it.

A)... This isn't really how identification is effected, but I suppose a phylogenetic tree could be used as a species key. Depending on what your teacher is wanting, this could be correct as well.
