We got online proofs in about 8 days (they were ready by the time we got back from our honeymoon). We got the physical proofs in about 2 months or so.
The albums were done and in my hands within about 5 months.

What does your contract say? Please tell me you have one!!! Some do take longer than others, if they are a well established or popular they may have several wedding pictures to get back to different couples, they take time to put together. In most cases, yes you should have heard by now. But really do you want a rushed job on your pictures or a quality job? You really need to look at your contract and see what the expectations of when you should get them back are. Rather then calling him, you need to start emailing him and sending formal letters (certified or return receipt so you know he got them) so that you have a paper record.

we went away for our honeymoon for 2 weeks, and while we were gone, they finished printing up our proofs so as soon as we got back we got to pickup 2 albums of 5X5 proofs which was awesome. Then we review it over and such and ordered the pictures and albums about 3 weeks later. then we went away for 2 weeks on a cruise and while we were away we got a message that the album proofs were ready for final approval, and our out of album pictures were ready for pickup. so 1 1/2-2 months for us and tyhats only because we delayed after getting the proofs so all the family could pass around the proof albums and see. :)

A year, but that is because we did not have the money to pay for them when they were finished! Proofs were available the week after the wedding, and final prints were done about 2 weeks after the order was turned in.

We had online proofs the NEXT MORNING! The photog emailed me a web site that had all the proofs posted (untouched). It was great, we were able to watch them with family as we opened our gifts.
Our actual albums took about 6 weeks, mostly because I couldn't decide on which pictures to have printed.

We got ours back a 6 weeks later. They turned out great!!

proofs where online about a wk or 2 after the wedding...but we still don't pick them...they're already paid for but we haven't had time...lol
