I got my first job in November and I opened a bank account at Wells Fargo. I am now interested in applying for a credit card but can I? I am only 17. I have researched a couple of credit cards but I don't really understand what they are saying. Can you help?
I was mainly interested in applying for the Blue from American Express do I just go to the website and apply?

You have to be 18 to legally getting a card. Have your parents add you as an authorized user.

You can't apply for a credit card until you are 18. You have to be an adult to enter into a legal agreement credit cards included. Stay at your current job until you turn 18 and then apply for a credit card. It will look good on your credit app to show that you have had a steady job. When you get your card be sure to use it wisely to keep your credit in good standing.

IF they ask for your birthday on the application, and they will. You will be denied. Legally, a person under 18 years of age cannot legally enter into a contract. There are some exceptions but that is the way that it is.
