Well I would have to opt for the galss bottle.
I think they quit makng the glass bottle because plastics were so much cheaper.

GLASS!!! Aluminum cans and plastic bottles leave a nasty after-taste! Glass keeps it true!
On a plus side, I believe that glass is also better for the enviorment, and is also easier to recycle.
Why did they stop? Plastic is CHEAPER!!! With all these companies, it's always based on profit. They don't give a rat's left nut about the enviorment... only profit!

Glass, without a doubt. You can still find good bottled soda if you look, though. Coca-Cola has special edition glass bottles during the holidays, and Jones and Boylan always use glass bottles. They're both fairly easy to find.

I like glass better for all of the above. The ONLY reason the major soda bottlers stopped using glass is cost - glass bottles are more expensive to make, recycle (sterilize), they're much heavier so unit transportation cost is much higher.

Glass for beer..can if you must, but the plastic ones like from sporting events taste like plastic, not good.

Well of course its gonna be glass. But Aluminum its recyclable more readily than glass.
