what can we do about it?

Another deception.

Sin is the transgression of the law.

I John 3:4
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

You have to break one of Yahweh's laws to sin. When you're born you haven't broken any laws.

Biblically speaking there is no such thing as "original sin"

The closest you get is:

Psalm 51:5
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.

This is not talking about David's sin but his mother's sin.

There's no need to worry about original sin, it's a myth.

Don't worry about original sin. There is no such a thing. Original sin is a concept developed by Christianity to make people feel guilty and stick to the Church. No one is born with sin. Everyone is born pure. That thing which happened to man in the symbolical narrative of Creation was not a sin. It was a good thing. Knowledge is good.
Therefore, I thank God Who provided for man to leave the boredom of Gan Eden.

Original sin is a description of the effects of the sin of Adam and Eve upon their descendants. It was not the guilt of sin which was passed down. For each is accountable only for their own sins. But rather their descendants were born in an environment (incorporating the world and the flesh) which would provoke and incline their hearts towards sin. Though guilt was not incurred until they acted upon such inclinations.

Original sin is the sin of our first parents, Adam and Eve, who disobeyed God and ate of the corrupted Tree. This knowledge was corrupted by evil (the serpent or satan) by violating the fruit of creation, which was originally good as God made it Good. This original sin took root in the flesh of the first parents and thus was passed down through origination from generation to generation. Jesus+ came with a Baptism of repentance and salvation that delivered man from evil and purified the soul. Thus mankind and all of their offspring could regain paradise by virtue of the redemptive act of Christ on the cross and the salvific grace supplied through HIs Church. In the first resurrection, Jesus saved our first parents, Adam and Eve and the patriarchal line of the Jews who were held in the abode of the dead awaiting their redemption. It was His first act, and thus they were termed the firstfruits of Redemption. Baptism removes the effects of Original Sin from our Souls and infuses Cardinal Virtues of Faith, Hope and Love into the Soul.
You may, for the sake of your salvation and eternal life in heaven, seek to be Baptized!

Catechism: Section 1265

Baptism not only purifies from all sins, but also makes the neophyte "a new creature," an adopted son of God, who has become a "partaker of the divine nature,"69 member of Christ and co-heir with him,70 and a temple of the Holy Spirit.71

Don't worry about it as it does not apply to you. Original sin is a concept from the catholic church that trys to tell you that you have inherited Adam's sin. No biblical support for this idea. Ezekiel 18 clearly shoots it down. Let the catholics worry about the doctrine they create.

Original Sin is When Adam and Eve sinned it bacame part of our DNA, as it were. We all are born into it. That's why the Bible says "for ALL have sinned..."
The only thing we can do about it, is believe in Jesus: "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ"
Therefore, the ONLY way out of Original Sin is Jesus.

The missuse of the knowledge of good and evil was the fall.
The Spirit does not call on anyone to live that it does not already know and understand. In the doing does there come the knowledge, the understanding for the next step. Only through wisdom, knowledge and understanding and applying will we be able to reverse the fall.

Original sin is the belief that because a woman long ago ate some magic fruit at the suggestion of a talking snake, all her descendants (which supposedly include us) bear the curse of this sufficient to prevent us from entering heaven when we die. To save us, a God with split personalities punished one of them in human form to satisfy his wrath, and those who believe this, drink that human's blood and eat his flesh will be scooped up to heaven after death instead.

What we can do is stop believing this fairy tale and realize that no such thing ever happened in the first place.

The concept is that Eve, before she knew it was wrong to disobey, ate of the fruit and then shared it with Adam. They then knew that disobeying was wrong and that they were not clothed and this also was wrong.

Strange that not wearing clothes was wrong, but still ok before the fruit, but that disobeying was wrong even if they didn't know it was wrong.

This was the original sin, and because of it, not only were all humans cursed, but every other creature in the world and apparently the entire universe.

All of our sins should be original. I'm sick and tired of all the unoriginal sins in this world. We need to become more creative in our sinning.
