I'm on holiday with my family in Switzerland right now, and my girlfriend's birthday is on January 1st, what do i get? I'm going back to Chicago (she's in Chicago, but goes to a School in Toronto like me. We go to separate boarding schools, one is all Boys (mine, lol) and hers is an all girls school. She went to spend the holidays in Chicago, so I'm going because I want a little more of a break be4 going back to School in the Frozen North...lol.). Anyway, I'm just here (in Switzerland) for 4 days and though I should bring her back something. I'm going to Chicago do some site seeing (been there more than 3 times though...) and was wondering what to get her. She's 15 teen (or will be on the first, I'm 4 months older than her) I don't know, clothes, from Switzerland? My sister is here, she could pick somethings out for her (myself, like most men hate and suck at shopping). I dunno, or should I get her from "Louis Vuitton" in Heathrow..or one of the other "fashion" shops, I dunno, my sister rants on about them...and spends hours in them...everything in them looks the same to me...What do I GET my girlfriend?

PS. Just to make it clear, my 16year old sister (not my 10year old one. Lol.) would be the one picking the clothes. Lol. I suck at that stuff...

You are way too young to be using that lame excuse that you are a guy and "hate and suck at shopping". The key is to understand what she likes and be considerate of that and then go after it.

You are in Switzerland, wonderful, there are many things she'd enjoy getting from a foregin country; nice boots to wear after skiing, a great fashion bag, etc. Have you sister accompany you, but you should know her and pick it out for her. Start to no suck at this...you have a long life of buying gifts for girls/women ahead of you, so hone your skills!

Good luck! : ) Let us know what you bought. Don't forget to wrap it nicely!

a necklace, or a bracelet.
or a cute teddy bear.
something sweet<3it doesn't have to
be like full out expensive or anything.
i mean anything from a boyfriend
kind of already makes it good enough.

you should pick it out.
it makes it more personal.
it makes it special, you know?
