answer this question, how could anything come into existence if there wasn't something that caused it to do so. Lets just say the Big Bang Theory is true for a second. What caused the bang? what caused the cause of the bang to happen? how did the materials to make the bang get there? In any theory of creation you can think of it will always point to an outside force creating it. The answer is God. God created the world. Then you would say well what created God? and I say God is Omnipresent. In the begining there was God.

You shouldn't make generalisations about Christians. I don't see why creation is incompatible with the big bang theory.

both big bang and creation start with step 2. No matter which you believe step 1 is simply faith.

Theists don't mind using their poor understanding of science as evidence that everything in science is wrong. However, since they openly hate science, they do not feel bound by the same arguments that they make against science.

God is "I AM."

He is not "I used to be" or "I will someday be," he is "I AM."

Time is one of the dimensions of the universe. It did not exist before God created the universe. God is not bound by time or space. He is eternal. He has always existed. He is the first cause.
