Ok, this is only for those who know spell craft
i keep hearing about it threw many things, many sources, and still i don't know whether to believe it or not.
if it is true, is it evil, or can it be used for good.
for those who say it doesn't exist, go ahead and say it, i am not going against you.
but for those of you who believe in it, make your out burst as well, as i am not going against you either, i just wish to know, as i am trying to open doors in to the real world, and get past the world i see in front of me.
if you believe in this, and want to show, please say so, and leave some account of proof, such as a spell or ritual, whatever may help support your belief
and for those of you who say it is not real, like the others, please leave a reason why you think so.
just for those who do not believe, the only reason i havn't decided whether i believe or not is because of the same reason i believe in god.
i have never seen him, or heard him, or felt him, but i have faith he exist.

The closest thing I do to summon is to ask the elements to protect the circle and to responsibility guide my hand.

Magick is real and does not require a belief in any religion. It does, however require study. Check out www.greyschool.com It is a school for Wizardy and Magick with over 1,000 students and a very impressive faculty.

It offers a seven year course of study and offers a number of Majors and Minors. The classes cover everything from Latin 101 to Advanced Magickal Practice 601. There is a complete Performing Arts Department as well as a Dark Arts Department and fourteem other Departments of study.

You will be convinced Magick is real and that it works. This school is serious and the students are dedicated to learning the craft.

Some believe magic exists, yes. I personally know Christians who believe magic exists, and that witches can use it. I can remember a situation not too long ago where one of the Christians had moved to an area with a large coven, but it was unknown to them until they moved in. They became paranoid that the 'witches' in the area were putting things (like a yellow paste) on their car or property. They thought it was magic spells and that they had moved into a demonic hotbed. The other Christians I know were panicking about it, praying with them constantly and advising them to move. Eventually this person did move from the area, at a large financial loss. My parents are the same way. I can remember visiting them and showing them the Criss Angel show. He did a trick and my mom says "How did he do that!" my dad says "It's demonic. He's using demonic forces." He said it in such a matter-of-fact way that I couldn't help but burst out laughing :P It's sleight of hand, camera angles, editting etc... it's not real. If magic was real people would be using it for more than making a quarter vanish. Unfortunately, mentioning that to Christians who believe magic is real doesn't alter their opinion.

Does magick exist? Is this what you are asking?

Spells, summoning and rituals are just avenues to manipulate magick which is the art of focusing your will, emotions and energy to effect change in the world around you and the world within you. There truly is nothing "supernatural" about it. Everyone has the ability to effect change many people just aren't aware that they have it or that they may even do it unconsciously.

Here is a simple example of how I have tapped magick.

I was at an event with my children and we were given raffle tickets when we walked in for just being there. The sponsors began showing each prize and then pulling out a ticket. At one point they showed a CD of a local artist I enjoyed. I turned to one of my children and said aloud. "I want that CD. I am going to get it." as the sponsor put his hand in the bucket of tickets. He chose mine. I got the CD.

Coincidence?

Perhaps but how many times before coincidence becomes something more?

Yes, spell crafting exists, and it is encouraged that it is ONLY used for good. Witches and Wiccans believe in a concept of karma, that whatever you send out (be it in thought or through ritual) is pure energy that always finds it's way back to the one who originated it. If you perform a negative or harmful spell, it will come back on you 3 to 10 times over. Same for positive spells, so obviously black or evil magick would not be recommended. Everything is made of energy, including our thoughts, and this energy is ours to bend and make manifest.

To offer proof is something that one has to do for themselves. As deewill pointed out, spells are very personal and I would prefer not to post any that I have done. All I can do is give you my word that they have always worked as well as any prayer when the goal that I am trying to achieve is in everyone's best interests, as it is asked at the end of all of them that it be for the "good of all".

As for the comment of witch craft being the work of the devil, this is mostly not true. There is some relevance to this, only when the person is actually calling on the devil deity or evil spirits to carry out and make their will manifest. It isn't everyone that includes these spirits or deities in their rituals (in fact it is rare that anyone would and is shunned by others who practice), because to do so would be for black magick and would be by the above standard a very stupid thing to do. Most witches (although not all) don't even believe in the devil.

I recommend that if you are truly interested in finding out if spell crafting works, to just try it. Scott Cunninham's books are an excellent tool for the beginner.

Blessed Be!

EDIT>>>Just so you are aware, I have been a practicing witch for 14 years and my chosen deities are Yeshua and Miriamne...otherwise known as Jesus and Mary Magdalene. When one truly knows their history, it is quite easy to follow Christ and be a witch at the same time. Since I came to this realization, I have been at peace more than ever before in my life. it is a very personal choice and does not work for everyone, and I would certainly never say that this is the only choice...I will leave that kind of judgementalism to the Christians. But one can never say it is impossible. It is about what works best for you.

You cant really show a spell or ritual as they are personal things.
I have done some candle lightings and rituals and they have had a positive impact on my life. If nothing more than they make me feel at peace about a situation that Im questioning or needing help with, etc.
Its like with prayer...you need to listen and have faith in it for it to "work". IMO
It isnt evil, its just another form of praying or asking for help, etc. Whatever the case may be.

In response to your original
question, the "short answer"
is Yes.

The long answer: You seem
to be wanting a "demo" for
the purpose of evaluating
the Truth or Fiction of this
subject. However, you're
probably not going to get
the experience you're
trying to get through any
methodology posted on this
"forum".

The reason being that to
reproduce results in anything
similar to a clinical manner
requires the application be
made by one with the proper
level of training and/or
experience to make it happen.

This means that (for example)
I cannot post a "run-of-the-mill
money spell" and you (untrained,
inexperienced, and full of doubts)
effectively get the expected
results anymore than one could
expect a generic posting on a
chemistry or physics experiment
to be properly executed and get
the expected results (from one
with no experience in those fields
or with the equipment used in
the experiments).

I would recommend you go to Haiti.
From Port au Prince or a surrounding
community you will have to locate
a hogun whose mamaloa and papaloa
will be willing to arrange one or
more Ceremonies for you. This will
probably cost you several bags of
groceries (esp if they expect
Baron Samedi to show up)...and perhaps
a bottle or two of rum.

Why not take a more modern approach? Positive thinking and visualization may work on a quantum scale to nudge things a little toward your advantage. The whole idea of spell craft is to send your intentions out into the universe in the hopes that the universe will respond. It is a subtle yet time honored technique.

Wow, those are a lot of disclaimers you put in there. You must really be afraid of being flamed.

Magic does exist, yes (I use the base word for it, as different religions use different names, but all recognize the basic word for it.) I don't, however, think it's what you're looking for. Wiccans do not summon dragons, or demons, or such, nor can they cast lightning bolts and magic missiles, etc. But the religion itself has many forms that can be in the sense of good, evil, or neutral, depending on the user's belief.

Just remember that Wicca is a religion, like any other, and as such is almost always looked down upon by other religions -- which is why so many of the popular religions look upon it and lump it all together as devil-worship. Sorry everyone, it's not.

Now, to answer your question directly: spellcraft, summoning, and rituals do exist, yes. It is something that is not toyed with. The types of spells cast, the type of summoning, and the kind of rituals vary, based on the caster's beliefs/ideals/desires at the time.

If you believe in god, do not delve too deeply into the Wiccan religion, as Christianity is not at all compatible with any other religion.

It exists.

Magic is like electricity; you can use it for good or evil.

Mostly magic is used to increase coincidence to fall in your favor. Like this:

Scenario one: Your alternator on your car fails while on a deserted stretch of road. It's midnight, and raining, and your cellphone isn't getting a signal. And you're broke for the rest of the week.

Scenario two: Your alternator on your car fails while you're on your way to the store to pick up something for dinner. However, you can limp it back home...you were only a block away....and call your friend that you were having over for dinner. And then you remember your friend's a pretty good shadetree mechanic, and it's a good day for it. Instead of calling him to cancel, you ask him to bring his toolbox, and resign yourself to the fact that overtime money is going to fix the car instead of getting that new game.

Both of these have the same thing happening; one circumstances is just easier to deal with. That's how magic generally works.

Feel free to look me up on IM if you want to discuss this further. I'm alexandralynch2000 .
