Check these potential problems.

Is it in a live outlet? Did you press the on-off button firmly? Did you snap the wire from the wall transformer? Is that power connection firmly in the frame? Is the memory chip in tightly? Did you drop the frame hard enough to break its internal parts?

Try bringing it back to the store without a receipt. In the post-Christmas crush they might give you a break. At least you can get a merchandise credit and get a different one that works.

Take it back and say it was a gift and they still may take it back.
