I am planning to dye my hair later on (not the first time) and I already had a bottle at home but bought another since I have thick hair. The problem is that its not the same brand. Can I still dye my hair without worring about anything happening to it?

no it's not safe..my aunt tried mixing two different brands together and the chemicals burned her skin. unless you use one and then wash the dye out and then use the other one..but i've never dyed my hair and i'm not sure that it will work, its just an idea..i hope this helps = )

I Wouldn't Try Using Two Different Brands At the Same Time. You May Not Get The Color Result You Want. Also The Chemicals/Conditioners In One Brand May Interfere With The Other, Leaving Your Hair Drier And More Delicate Than It Should Be. Not Mention You Increase Your Risk Of Having A Bad Reaction To The Haircolor Making It Impossible To Use ANY Haircolor Again.

I combine two different colors but not two different brand- as long as it is not mixing two together and applying it - it is o.k..
