when a guy asks you out, how do you know hes serious???

i mean i heard that guys just ask out a girl by a dare and the girls stupid enough to say yes and he just breaks up with her the day after saying it was a dare and just a joke. (that was my friend. so i slapped him) soooooo how do you know if a guy asks you out and hes actually meaning it and being serious???

omg that's a really tough one. I always think of that same question when someone asks me out and the first thing i notice about them is if they are a serious person or a playful person willing to hurt someones feeling or willing to take risks.If your still not sure and you know someone really well that knows that person too ask them about it.

Well, I guess you can tell by the way he asks you. Is holding down a laugh?

You can tell by what he asks. If he's saying "I want you." or something equally odd then he's probably kidding. But the more casual "Do you wanna go out?" is a bit more challenging to figure out.

But the tell tale sign is when his friends are behind him giggling or (even more obvious) pushing him to go ask the big question. Another big(ger) sign is how good your relationship with this guy is. Is he your close friend of a few months, maybe a year? Then most likely he wouldn't even ask. Do you know he's a jerk even before you met him today?

Most of the times if a guy goes through the trouble of asking a girl out, they are pretty serious! And then there are idiots like him! Its about being confident about yourself and make your first date getting to know the real him, size um up i guess. If at all you feel that he isn't all geniune..would be a good sign.,,, but in reality there isn't no sure way to know!

WOW! That has never happen to me. Well, to tell that a guy is truely asking you out. He will look at you straight in the eyes, hold your hand. He won't look anywhere else. Nothing will distract him. He may have difficulty asking you if he is a nervous type. YOu will be able to tell, all from his eyes. Eyes don't lie.
