You should re-evaluate everything constantly. If it isn't true, isn't based on facts and doesn't hold up to reason, then it must be abandoned. Anything less and you're selling your life short, wasting time on nonsense. God is a preposterous can of worms that can't be proven and therefore must be ignored.

Of course it's not wrong. A god would understand if you question them... they are a god after all and should understand the complexities of human nature (I don't know which religion you are so I'm being general here). Also, just think of all the changes that have happened to religion over the last few thousand years. Religions believe different things now than they did even a couple of hundred years ago... all of this is questioning... so if the overall religion can do it, why can't you??

I think it probably is, because God knows best and we are not smart enough to know His ways. He wants to do what is best for each of us. I once thought i was so deeply in love THAT if I didn't marry this guy that I would die. But God didn't answer the prayer, no matter how hard I prayed. He asked me several times but something always blocked it. Well afew years later he did marry and broke the womans arm, went out on her a couple times a week, was a severe alcoholic, didn't want to work and was mean. Now I thank God that He didn't allow me to marry him. My life would have been miserable. So I try not to question God because He knows what's down the road and I don't so I take His word for it. He knows best.

No, it isn't wrong to question God. We must that remember Satan can hear our prayers as well, and can come as an angel of light. I am sure that even Noah questioned God when building the ark. Just as much as Abraham questioned God when he was told to kill Issac, how about Moses, he told God he couldn't do it, that he was unable to speak. They still did as they were told, but it had to be hard. Jeremiah told God that he was unable to speak for he was only a child. Or Gideon when he tested God with the fleece.

Depends on the question and the person's heart.
For instance let's say there are two Atheists.
Atheist #1 Asks, "Hey Gawd! Why don't you show yourself to me! Huh? What ya chicken! Bawk! Bawk! Big tough Sky Daddy won't do it eh? Ha! Some Gawduh you are! Why do you send people to Hell? Huh? Why are Christians so DELUSIONAL?!"
Then Atheist #1 Gets an answer but it is against his beliefs and he has closed his heart and mind...so he blows it off with a nice **** you.
Atheist #2 "God why don't you appear to me? Why do people go to Hell? Why are Christians so messed up?"
Atheist #2 Gets an answer. He does not like it but accepts it.
Atheist #2 is RARE.
The point is....Ask with respect and be open to the answer.

That depends...
Example: You can speak with God during your prayers and ask "why" a particular condition or event is performed.
A multitude of Biblical scholars when they cannot determine a reason ask God's advice in the form of "why".
Example:
1. God, why did you place the serpent in the garden of eden?
2. God, why did you continue to create mankind when you knew they would fail.
The above questions to God are a great mystery to us, yet who can we ask that would know other than God.
Perhaps, in our prayers the Lord may give us some insight as to the meaning etc...
Furthermore, it is important to ask with love (inquisitive), not in a hateful manner.

I don't believe it's wrong to question God on something you don't understand. He is our Father and expects us to ask questions. But, when we do ask the question, be ready for the answer. Because there will be an answer coming, and maybe not the answer we are expecting or looking for......

It's wrong to NOT question God. If God created you and gave you a mind to think with and curiosity to know things it'd be an insult not to think and ask.

It's actually good to question God and think logically. However you must be able to do what many before could not when they question God... and that is to accept the answer.

No,its recommended if you are a non believer for how can you find out if you don't question-God could also be putting questions into your heart to help you look for Him.
