I have had a bottle of asti champagne in my fridge(unopened) for two years, is it still drinkable this new years?

As others have said, it *should* be fine. It won't hurt you, so give it a taste. If you're concerned about serving it to guests, you can either pick up another bottle as a spare, or open this one and test it in advance. With the cork pushed back in, and stored in your fridge, it'll be OK for several days. It is best to store wine in a cool, dark place, however. You can pick up an inexpensive (under $100) 12-bottle wine cooler to store your wine in without worry.

Sure - sparkling wines keep for a long time as long as they aren't opened - but just like soda they will go flat by the next day if you don't use a proper seal top (probably not a problem New Years but good to know). Cheers!

It should be but if not you can tell by the color and the smell.
