WE ARE GOING TO LET THEM MEET TO SEE HOW THEY GET ALONG, DO YOU THINK IT CAN WORK OR WILL THERE BE PROBLEMS LATER?

Typically, two females are tough... even if both are spayed. Personally, I would get a male. However, it can work if you work at it! It all depends on how much time and effort you are going to be putting into training both girls and making them aware of proper behavior. It absolutely can be done as long as you are consistent and are clear with your expectations. Good luck!! Boxers are wonderful dogs :)

There could be problems with 2 females but since they are spayed less likely. You will just have to see how they get along when they meet. If they are both young and have easy going personalities all should go fine.

I have two spayed female dogs and they are fine together. (and they weren't raised together either-one is fixing to turn 5, one is 12.) However, they do occasionally have a hard time deciding who gets what toy, which is why they have to play under my supervision. It's best to let them meet on neutral territory and see how they work out there. If they get along pretty well, then there is a chance it can work out. It is definitely possible, but don't get too upset if it doesn't work out.

I've seen plenty of boxer females get very aggressive toward other females. Lots of fights. They may end up being great friends, or you could have two dogs you'll have to keep separated for the rest of their lives. Is this something you are willing to do? If not, don't get her....get a male instead.

generally 2 same sex dogs have an issue as to "owns" the home, who is the leader, etc.i beleive the first dog is young enough to accept another member into the pack-however the first dog in the house will be the leader and it's up to the second dog to accept the lesser position.it can work . 2 ways to go about it is the new girl has to be brought in and be inspected.accepted by the first or meet in a nuetral place.good luck!

i have a female pitbull, and a female cockerspainel/sheepdog, they get along great. both fixed. my mix, let's our female now when to back off. we also have a male pitbull, that will not mess with our mix, cuz she's just flat out mean or loving, no inbetween with her. we are the pack leaders, but i let her be the alpha when it comes to them being dogs. instead of our babies.

I hope you are getting a rescued boxer. She will most likely have been in a foster home & they can tell you her quirks and preferences.

It really depends on the two dogs. Have them meet on neutral territory. Good luck.

I bring new dogs into my home all the time. I own 4 dogs now. I am the pack leader and they have no choice but to get along.

Sure it can work, I have several females that all get along fine. Make sure they aren't both dominant females, make sure you are the boss, and make sure that you don't allow aggressive play.
