Depends on where he was struck and how severe the injuries are... we have many HBC's that come into our hospital that survive, others are not so lucky.

I know I am not to get a best answer for this because I am going to be hard on you. I know your question was posted hours ago. I hope your pups doing OK. If it had been your child that got hit by a car would you be on the internet or in the emergency room at the hospital? Did you take the dog to the Vet? You think us out here on Yahoo can save your pup? Always go to the Vet.
Now for a little story of when my Old English Sheepdog was run over by a truck. The truck was delivering lumber for the barn I was building. I told the guy where to dump the lumber and put Barney into my truck and went to the Vet. They told us that Barney was in serious shape and would not make it. We agreed to have him put down.
It was a bit over a month later we had this little car come up our driveway. It was our young Vet. He was pretty neverious.
He said that the night when they were going to put Barney down they saw a sparkle in his eye and such a will to live they could not do it. They brought him back and wanted to know if we wanted him back.
Can you guess the answer? We got Barney back from the dead. He lived for another year and half and passed away in his sleep at 12 years old. Pretty good for all he went though.
He was a big lovable clown that I will never forget even though it has been over thirty years.

It depends on how severe the injuries were. Two of my three dogs have been hit by cars (before I got them) and they are fine now; however, one of them had a front leg amputated because of the accident (the other had a broken hip but that was fixed through surgery).

Just make sure the dog is with a good vet and is properly being taken care of.
Hope everything turns out well.

The faster the car was going when it hit the dog, the least chance the dog has to survive.

That depends on the dameage that was caused by the accident. The dog no matter what should see a vet and they can tell you what the chances are.

maybe 50% out of 100% because when my German Shepard got hit by a car she died on impact but it could also depend on how fast the car was going

If he is injured in any way shape or form, you need to get off the Internet and take him to a Vet right away.
