What makes you think that a college education is necessary to sell marketing ideas to companies? College is good only for making one think and find where to look. With few exceptions, like accounting, you have little or no work experience to do anything. So , if you have the gift of good speech( gift of Gab), can explain what it is you are selling, how it will benefit the client and how it may apply to the business you are conversing with, you can sell a concept. Have a good presentation, Charts and all.

If it is that good, target the companies customers.
Sell the customer and then offer the idea to the company
