The question is more than only emotion and logic. Instinct is something to consider too. There have been times when I would logically think things through, been very aware of my emotions. and had an instinctive feeling about what was true and what I should do. None are always right, but in order, my logic, my instincts, my emotions have been right. Don't ignore your instincts!

The Bible says not to trust your heart.
Jeremiah 17:9

"The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it?"

Actually, the heart is just a muscle for pumping blood.

The heart is a muscle, so what they say is wrong. since your emotions are yours, you are in control of them, I suggest that you should exercise that control and figure it out.

get a second opinion.. *grin*

seriously..

ask someone who's not involved.. their judgment wouldn't be clouded by their emotions..

if that doesn't help.. there's only one last place to direct your questions, and you know it quite well.. just remember to ask with sincerity..

Pray for guidance (pray istighara) and have faith that God will guide, and whatever is decided will be the best for you at the time -it's God's will.

Take a step in one direction, if it works, go, if not, take a step back and go the other way.
