is the pie crust suppose to be sticky?? it has the flaky look but sticky. should i puit a bit more flour until its smoother???

Pat a bit more flour on it, but what it mainly needs is COLD. Wrap in plastic and set in the fridge for 30 + min.

i would add more flour. sounds to me like you have too much water in the dough.

depending on how sticky, add up to one cup of flour. remember, you don't want your dough to look flaky now - you want to see specks of butter (or whatever fat you are using).

you want the dough to look heavy and feel almost, but not quite hard. also, pop the dough into the fridge before you roll it out - that will help get those fats firmed up.

after or before it is cooked? after it shouldn't be sticky but flaky
before obviously its going to be sticky cuz its still dough\

if it is after maybe do a VERY VERY VERY light sprinkle of flour on it and cook it for another few mintues, and see what the results are
if it is before...just cook as directed in the recipe~
